Clinical veterinary anaesthetist – 6-week locum position

VRCC Veterinary Referrals is looking for a veterinary anaesthetist for a 6-week locum position from 29th July to 6th September 2013.

VRCC is a 24/7 referral-only multi-disciplinary centre in Essex and employs specialists in Oncology, Surgery, Medicine, Imaging, Cardiology and Neurology. VRCC is located only 30 minutes by train from central London.

The position can be either full- or part-time and has no out-of-hours duties. Applicants should have completed a residency in Anaesthesia and should either be Diplomates or at least Board-eligible. The successful candidate will need to become Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons if she/he is not already. Duties will include provision of anaesthesia services to cats and dogs undergoing surgery, radiotherapy or diagnostic procedures (CT, endoscopy), but also teaching and supervising nurses and interns.

Board - Eligible Radiologist - UK

VRCC Veterinary Referrals is looking for a radiologist to join their team of specialists in Oncology, Surgery, Medicine, Anaesthesia, Cardiology and Neurology.

VRCC is a 24/7 referral-only centre in Essex, only 30 minutes by train from central London. Imaging facilities include a multi-slice Siemens CT scanner, an Esaote – My Lab 50 X-Vision ultrasound machine and a radiology suite equipped with Konica/Minolta Regius Computed Radiography.

The position is permanent and can be either full- or part-time. Applicants should have completed a residency in Imaging and should either be Diplomates or at least Board-eligible. The successful candidate will need to become a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons if she/he is not already. Duties will include provision of radiographic, ultrasonographic and CT services to assist the specialists in the main clinical disciplines as well as providing training to interns and nurses. There is no out-of-hours work. A competitive salary and benefits package is offered.
